Shenful gets through to the Invitational by winning outright the last chance qualifier! As a strong contender in the first few seasons he would probably have had enough points had he played all the seasons anyway so his inclusion could have been on multiple fronts.

- No, started at Gencon.
Do/have you played other competitive card games at a high level?
- MTG / Game of Thrones 2nd Edition
What were your experiences of the Discord League – any highlights ?
- Got to test vs top players. Most interesting game so far was vs Raphelos LCQ finals Adept of Shadows war T1.
Do you have any advice for the other lower ranked players?
- Accept RNGesus and Pray daily. Tilt-> Analyze Play-> Improve -> Win Games. Circle of life.
What is there that you like/dislike about new L5R and what would you like (or not like) to see moving forward.
Likes:
- Game is complex and awards good play also feels rewarding to play well.
- Interactive conflict turns
Dislikes:
- Less Limit 1 Cards (Imperial Palace can be free win Turn 1).
- Make going 1st more attractive: Let 1st player peek at a facedown province after mulligans are completed
- Change Earth ring to: (Draw a Card Opponent Discards Card OR Discard 2 Cards then Draw 2 Cards)
What are your favourite/least favourite matchups?
Least Favorite: Scorpion vs Dragon when on the play - Restoration lottery worst lotto.
